Former Irish senator not wanted in Louth?

The BBC report the discovery of 70 pounds of homemade explosive mix, packed into a gas cylinder, which failed to explode despite the detonater being set off, at the site of a new house being built in County Louth by former member of the Irish Seanad, and current UUP peer in the House of Lords, Eddie Haughey – otherwise known as Lord Ballyedmond. Update Irish Times report Updated The simultaneous arson attacks on two tyre stores at Dungannon are also suspected to be linked to micro-republicans, although no-one has claimed responsibility in any of the attacks yet.
