2016/7 NI Party Conference dates

The autumn party conference season is almost upon us. I’ll keep this post updated with information on the dates and venues for the party gatherings most relevant to followers of Northern Ireland politics, and link to Slugger’s conference coverage after each event.

Note that the DUP have moved their conference forward from its traditional November weekend, while the SDLP are expected to stick to their new spring slot. Despite earlier speculation, no party has yet booked to use the new Waterfront Conference extension with the DUP remaining at La Mon though Alliance are switching to the Stormont Hotel.

2016

2017

  • Saturday 25 March – Alliance – Stormont Hotel – conference report
  • ??? – Sinn Féin
  • ??? – Green Party NI
  • ??? – SDLP

Also relevant are the test dates for AQE (Saturdays 12 November, 26 November and 3 December) and GL Assessment (Saturday 19 November + supplementary test on 10 December).
