With books still in mind after the Christmas Holidays, the authors of two the best of 2006/7 Malachi O’Doherty (The Telling Year) and Glenn Patterson (Lapsed Protestant) will be at the Black Box in Belfast for an Out to Lunch session. It’s billed as “…a discussion by two writers who consistently challenge the orthodoxies of their respective backgrounds. With a cesation of violence and a newly devolved government, this talk will ask, what are the new narratives that are emerging, socially, culturally and politically.”
