Environmental pressure group, Friends of the Earth, are reported to have lodged an official complaint to the European Commission that the Department of the Environment had breached EU laws by not setting in place an independent Environmental Protection Agency. And if I’m not mistaken, they’re pointing to the recent High Court Judgement noted here. [Was the Minister listening then? – Ed]
