More shock results for World Cup?

After yesterday’s surprises I’ll not be making any predictions for the second brace of World Cup quarter-finals [Eddie Butler gets carried away here – Ed]. This afternoon, 2pm kick-off, South Africa take on Fiji at the scene of the Aussie’s humbling yesterday and later tonight Scotland will attempt to halt the momentum of the unbeaten Argentinians as this eventful Rugby World Cup nears completion. Half-time In Marseille, South Africa 13 – 3 Fiji Full-time South Africa 37 – 20 Fiji. A score-line that doesn’t reflect the Fijian performance. That was almost another upset. Last Quarter-Final Half-time Argentina 13 – 6 Scotland Full-time Argentina 19 – 13 Scotland. It was always going to be difficult to match the excitement of yesterday’s games. But Argentina, on balance, deservedly go through to play South Africa in one semi-final. France face England in the other.
