SF condems burning of Orange Hall in Lurgan

Just to be very clear how the leaders of Republicanism feel about the burning of the Orange Hall in Lurgan, I’m going to post the Sinn Féin official response. No-one can ever be fully responsible for the mindsets of individuals, but I think its worth making ourselves aware that there is no room in SF for the toleration of this behaviour.

Sectarianism, irrespective of its source or who or what it is directed against, is wrong and I have no hesitation in condeming this attack.

“Those involved need to desist from this type of behaviour. The overnight arson attack on Kilmore Orange Hall was wrong and serves no purpose other than to create and heighten community tensions. Regardless of whoever was behind this, the reality is that such actions are totally unacceptable and should stop.
