October 15, 2005 mouthwatering word of mouth A Saturday morning cultural treat. The Guardian prints 2 poems by Seamus Heaney from a new collection, a limited edition of 300 copies, published by Clutag Press. Powerful compact poetry. Anyone got an inside track with Clutag Press? Anyone?? Ooo I'd like one of them. Keep me posted Pete. Posted by: Sinéad at October 15, 2005 03:17 PM Ooo I'd like one of them. Keep me posted Pete. Posted by: Sinéad at October 15, 2005 03:17 PM ...so much so that my comment posted twice. Posted by: Sinéad at October 15, 2005 03:19 PM This may not be the right thread to mention this. But over at http://www.languagehat.com/ which is a specialist linguistics website, they are discussing "Ulster Scots" language/dialect/figment of the imagination, and getting into a right tizzy. Maybe you're the lads to put them right. Posted by: Glyn at October 15, 2005 06:00 PM I'd love one of them, Sinéad.. and I sent off a cheque just in case.. but with only 300 available, on a first-come-first-served basis, the chances are low to say the least. Ah well.. Posted by: peteb at October 15, 2005 07:38 PM What's the point of these poems ? Posted by: Fishfiss at October 16, 2005 06:10 PM |
