Yes, I know it was but I just wanted to give a name to one of this alleged IRA bombers victims -a young life cruelly taken away - a family devastated by the loss of their young son. I know people who were on the scene - it was grim. I feel such sorrow for young Alan's family and such blistering contempt for the people who murdered him.

Yes I know that it was the Spanish who arrested him because the Germans had an arrest warrant out for him. But you must be naive if you don't think the Irish government didn't tip them off. How did the authorities find out exactly where he was. Hardy obviously thought it was safe enough for him to travel to Spain otherwise he wouldn't have left Ireland.
