September 30, 2004 DUP want governments to bolt decomm down The DUP delegation is off to Dublin this morning to meet the Ahern boys, Bertie and the new broom at the DFA, Dermot. The main theme for the meeting from a DUP perspective is to find out how secure the decommissioning deal is likely to be. So why are they meeting the Irish government then, if that's what they really want to know? What was all that talk about "action, not words" from the IRA? They would seem to be dealing with the wrong republican party...
